17TH AVENUE WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS

Buyer Contact: Sarah Rowley, P.E. sarah.rowley@watkinseng.com 229-388-8823 Description: Sealed Bids for the construction of the 17th Avenue Watermain Improvements project will be received, by City of Cairo, at Cairo City Hall, 119 North Broad Street, Cairo, GA 39828, until 10:00 AM, July 14, 2022, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a licensed Utility Contractor by the State of Georgia. The work to be done shall consist of approximately 3,290 linear feet of 12-inch watermain, including valves, fire hydrants, fittings, jack and boring of steel casing under GDOT highway, horizontal and directional borings, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, erosion control, and all associated measures for the water system improvements project. This work will be awarded in one contract with a 180 consecutive calendar day construction schedule.
