U.S. Customs and Border Protection, San Diego Sector, requires access to regional law enforcement databases called the Automated Regional Information System (ARJIS) and San Diego Users Network/California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (SUN/CLETS). Together, the systems are collectively known as ARJISnet. ARJISnet was created to share information among justice agencies throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties, California and has evolved into a complex criminal justice enterprise network used by 80+local, state, and federal agencies in the two California counties that border Mexico.
