09027 Proposal To Amend A State Airport Land Lease - King Salmon

PROPOSAL TO AMEND A STATE AIRPORT LAND LEASE: The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to increase the area and amend the term of Lease ADA-09027, Lot 4A, Block 100, consisting of approximately 43,000 sq ft, to be increased 12,000 sq ft, for a total of 55,000 square feet at King Salmon Airport for an additional 30 years, to expire March 6, 2070. Applicant: Coastal Air LLC. Annual rent: $10,835. Authorized uses: Construction and maintenance of hangar and office building; aircraft and vehicle parking to support Lessee commercial air taxi business. Subleasing aircraft parking; freight/cargo, equipment & resource handling & loading onto third party aircraft incl helicopters; base of operations for third party aircraft operators (for various purposes); office & equipment storage for support of these operations; permission to sell fuel commercially either from mobile fueler and/or tank located on lease lot. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., August 5, 2023, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
