The intention of the Program is to implement projects and initiatives that advance the goals of the County of Santa Clara Food System Workplan (“Workplan”) and to improve the resiliency and equity of the local food system. This Request for Grant Application (RFGA) may result in a single or multiple award(s). It is the County’s intent to award a contract with a term of one or two years, unless terminated earlier or otherwise amended. See Section I.D, “Purpose and Requirements of Grant Program,” for more information. This RFGA is contingent on the appropriation of sufficient funding by the County for the services covered by this RFGA. If funding is reduced or deleted

for the purpose of this RFGA, the County has the option to either terminate this RFGA with no liability occurring to the County or to offer an amendment to the RFGA indicating the reduced amount. PRE-SUBMISSION CONFERENCE Attendance at the pre-submission conference is strongly recommended but is not a prerequisite for submission of an application. No audio, video, or written, transcript record of the proceedings of this pre-submission conference will be available after its conclusion. The County will attempt to tabulate a list of all questions and responses at the pre-event but does not guarantee that the list will include every question asked at the event.
