Purpose
The purpose of this

RFA is to provide guidance for current contractors to submit continuation applications to the Iowa Department of Public Health (referred to as Department) to renew service provisions as described by and within the project period established by the RFP 58820023. Services covered by this application include cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services to low-income, underinsured or uninsured persons who are ages 19-64, and human papillomavirus (HPV) immunization services to low-income, underinsured or uninsured persons who are ages 19-45. Persons eligible for services must earn less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level and have no other means to pay for these services. Only persons who have a cervix may be provided cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services. HPV immunizations may be provided to any person who meets the eligibility requirements of income level, insurance status, and age. This program promotes health equity through reduction of economic barriers to obtaining cervical cancer screening, cervical cancer diagnostic services, and human papillomavirus immunization for persons in Iowa.
