It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. There is no solicitation currently available. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

Based on the responses to this Sources Sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. USASAC leads the AMC Security Assistance Enterprise; develops and manages security assistance programs and foreign military sales cases to build partner capacity, support Combatant Command (COCOM) engagement strategies and strengthens U.S. Global partnerships.The Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources with the technical capability and necessary resources to provide books and educational media required for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC). The provided products must meet the salient characteristics as detailed in the attached spreadsheet. REQUIRED CAPABILITIESThe Contractor shall provide new books as listed in the supplemental document. Used is acceptable if the condition is Very Good or better. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide the required books and educational media, please provide a tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation, and return along with the completed spreadsheet. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. DO NOT SUBMIT CLASSIFIED MATERIAL.If your organization has the potential capacity to provide the required products, please provide the following information:1) Organization name, cage code, address, primary points of contact (POCs) and their email address, FAX, Web site address, telephone number, and type of ownership for the organization 2) A statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.), and the corresponding NAICS code.3) Tailored capability statements addressing the requirements of this notice, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and supply capability.
