This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 3304(a)(1) - FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Swisslog Healthcare (Translogic Corporation), 11325 Main Street, Broomfield, CO 80020. Services will be from 12/01/2022 through 11/30/2023 with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods under NAICS 811210. The Vendor shall provide preventive maintenance, software maintenance, and parts allotment, for the facility Pneumatic Tube System located at the VA Medical Center, Columbus, OH. This action will result in a firm-fixed-price service contract. The period of performance shall be for twelve (12) months beginning December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023 with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement not later than 11/11/2022 at 08:00 AM EST, to Michael.Groneman@va.gov . When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to number 36C25023Q0097, Notice of Intent in the subject line. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. Responding as an interested party under the https://sam.gov website does not constitute convincing evidence of capabilities. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted. If after November 11, 2022, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, NCO 10 shall negotiate solely with Swisslog Healthcare. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed requirement shall be based upon responses received and is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition. REQUIRED SERVICES: Contractor to provide non-personal services for preventive maintenance, software maintenance, and parts allotment, for the facility Pneumatic Tube System as defined in the Scope of Work except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services.
