Department on behalf of the Probation Department is seeking proposals from community-based organizations qualified to provide at-risk youth with programs and services that meet the objectives of the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA) by providing juvenile program services intended to decrease crime and delinquency among at-risk youth. The Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA) was created by the Crime Prevention Act of 2000 to provide a stable funding source for local juvenile justice programs anticipated to reduce crime and delinquency among at-risk youth. JJCPA funding has supported 149 programs in 56 participating counties. Programs that resulted in lower crime rates among juveniles include intensive family interventions, after-school programs for at-risk teens, gang and truancy prevention, job training and diversion programs. State law compels that counties provide programs that have been demonstrated to be effective in reducing delinquency. It is the intent of the County to award an agreement to one or multiple bidder(s) as a result of this solicitation which contains the minimum requirements and all terms and conditions for the service. Services will be evaluated and awarded on the cost to provide and implement services, ongoing cost, ability to provided servicesand meeting the qualifications and scope of services as detailed in RFP #PRARC-2022-RFP-0000368 Attachment A.
