Description: OVERVIEW: Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued by the Technical College System of Georgia on behalf of Southern Regional Technical College to establish a one-time purchase with one authorized supplier who will provide a new Hydraulic Metal Shear to their Welding and Joining Technology Program (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. The College is seeking to purchase a new Hydraulic Metal Shear for their Welding and Joining Technology Program. The Program is interested in the Baileigh Heavy Duty Metal Cutting Shear, Model No. SH-5203-HD-NC, but will consider any brand that offers an equivalent model. Suppliers must upload an itemized quote, a photo and manufacturer specifications for their proposed shear and must be authorized by the manufacturer to sell the proposed equipment. Review the Bid Specifications Sheet attached to the Comments and Attachments section of the Team Georgia Marketplace Bid Event for more information about this purchase.
