Job Description:Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, the Student Success Assessment & Research Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties including: Enrollment data retrieval; helping Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SA&EM) leadership to create and implement a program review and assessment process; and other duties necessary to assist and support the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and the SA&EM team. Job Responsibilities: Create and implement an assessment plan for SA&EM and other non-credit operations. Extract and compile institutional data, specifically related to enrollment, in accordance with reporting requirements. Create enrollment dashboards to be shared with the President's Cabinet, the College community, the Board of Trustees, and other external stakeholders. Work with Directors, Coordinators, and area supervisors to create measurable and assessable student learning outcomes. Coordinate data collection, analysis, presentation, and reporting for the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. Organize and conduct surveys via e-mail, mail, phone, and in-person. Design and distribute Internet surveys using Survey Monkey, Qualtrics and other online program(s). Coordinate and oversee procedures pertaining to the preparation of required reports for the Vice President and for external state and federal agencies including grant data submissions, Board of Trustee presentations, and other reports and presentations related to enrollment and student success. Critically examine college policies and practices to ensure equitable outcomes from BIPOC students, and other historically marginalized populations. Work collaboratively with faculty and college staff to design, collect, track, and analyze assessment data relevant to student learning (including both curricular and co-curricular program reviews), student retention, and student success in college programs. Disseminate and facilitate discussion of results of assessment activities. Promote use of results of assessment activities to develop and, where appropriate, revise policies and procedures. Plan and coordinate Argos, EAB, CROA, Tableau, and Colleague-related trainings in collaboration with SA&EM, IT and IE. Exercise and maintain a high level of confidentiality both inside and outside the college in all matters that specifically pertain to FERPA regulations including institutional and system data. Serve as the SA&EM representative on campus and on select state committees and participate in planning and strategy sessions.Perform other similar duties as responsibilities necessitate or as requested by the Vice President. Requirements:Bachelor's degree required. 3 years of research experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated expertise in use of statistical/analytical methods and tools that support research and assessment. Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience working with, higher education or similar database systems (e.g., Colleague or similar relational database systems, data marts, and warehouses) in organizing data for production of high quality statistical/analytical tables, charts, graphs. Knowledge and experience with Colleague preferred. Knowledge and experience with student success and enrollment management data reporting. Demonstrated skills in data analysis, interpretation, presentation of data and information in a user-friendly manner that enhances usefulness of the information and facilitates effective planning, policy development, and performance assessment. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
