Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to CovertTrack Group Inc for the Renewal of Airtime (1 Year) of Unlimited 5 Sec Updates and Annual Subscription to access UNITRACK and CovertTrack Mapping Product. This procurement supports the Division Office of Houston. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by the archive date of this notice effective 06/07/2021 @ 10:00 am EST. Point of contact is Alicia Jones, email alicia.l.jones@usdoj.gov.The proposed purchase order is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with CovertTrack Group Inc.  In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will

satisfy agency requirements. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (Feb 2007) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (Apr 2008) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. Basis of Award: Award will be based on lowest price/technically acceptable. Award is ALL or NONE/BRAND NAME ONLY. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
