The Las Vegas Valley Water District invites qualified firms (Bidders) to submit Bids for the following work, see Contract Documents for full details. The Sites of the Work include public rights-of-way in which the District owns or operates water facilities and properties within Las Vegas, Nevada; Blue Diamond, Nevada; Jean, Nevada; Kyle Canyon, Nevada; Laughlin, Nevada; and Searchlight, Nevada; at which maintenance and/or repair work is directed by the District. Required services will be related to maintaining water distribution pipelines, valves, hydrants, vaults, backflows, associated water delivery facilities, emergency repairs, and site restorations. Work shall consist of, but not be limited to, marking the work area in white, notifying One Call, contacting utilities, planning and setting barricades, cutting asphalt, excavation, dewatering, disinfection, repair, replacement or installation of water mains, valves, fire hydrants, service laterals, fiberoptic infrastructure and cathodic protection systems. This work shall also include trench fill, compaction, surface restoration, placement and removal of barricades, and similar activities associated with the operation and maintenance of potable water facilities and appurtenances at times and places directed by the Engineer.
