SUNY University at Albany Colonial Quad Solicitation #:1519 Issue Date:07/18/2018 Proposal Due:08/31/2018 - 5:00 PM Classification:Professional Services Type:Request for Proposal (RFP) Status:New Subcontracting Provisioning Goals (%) Minority Owned:15 Women Owned:15 Service Diabled Veteran Owned:6 Contract Terms 5 years Location Where Goods to be Delivered or Service Performed Albany Ad Notice The Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY) is seeking proposals from architectural/engineering firms to provide design, bid, construction administration and third party cost estimating services for construction renovations at SUNY University at Albany’s Colonial Quad, located at 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, New York 12222.  Services include, but not limited to, developing a comprehensive phased demolition and renovation plan for Livingston Tower, Paine (G), Zenger (H) Halls, and the connecting lower level, mezzanine floors, basement level, and site work including hazardous materials

abatement throughout.  Livingston Tower renovation will focus primarily on interior systems and spaces as the windows and concrete façade have been addressed in prior projects. Interested firms must: (1) have extensive relevant experience with projects of similar size, scope and budget; (2) employ experienced staff with thorough knowledge of their area(s) of expertise; (3) be a New York State licensed architect/engineer (4) have experience designing USGBC LEED projects with successful certification; and (5) have experience successfully completing projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software. It is the goal of DASNY to encourage participation by qualified certified Minority, Woman and Small Business Enterprises (MWSBE) and Services-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) as part of your team to the maximum extent practical and consistent with legal requirements.
