Scope of Work Will County currently maintains an existing county-wide Avaya PBX system that includes 14 remote Media Gateways. These Gateways are inter-connected via PTP T-1s providing its own private data network for voice services.
Nineteen (19) locations currently maintain a minimum of one PTP T1 and local copper trunking. Ten (10) of those locations utilize additional DID PRI facilities to access the PSTN for (inbound and outbound local/LD).
AT&T currently provides a single DS3 circuit at the 302 N. Chicago location. Laraway (Sheriff’s office) is the only other location that has fiber terminated at the demark. All other County terminations (PRI, T1, Pots) are on copper.
