provide bids for the Septic Replacement at Huntingtown Elementary School, 4345 Huntingtown Road, Huntingtown, Maryland 20639.Bid Documents will be made available beginning on Friday, 5 April 2024. The Invitation for Bids, including the bid specifications, drawings, and any addenda or clarifications to the bid documents are posted online at eMaryland Marketplace. Please note that all bidders must be prequalified. The Contractor’s Qualification Questionnaire can be found online at www.calvertnet.k12.md.us and following the tabs: "Departments, Construction, Construction Program Information, Construction Forms”. Completed qualification questionnaires are due no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, 19 April 2024 and shall be submitted electronically or hardcopy mailed to Mr. Wayne Gleason, Supervisor for School Construction, Calvert County Public Schools, 1305 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678, gleasonw@calvertnet.k12.md.us.The ITB package is free, and vendors are encouraged to download the package online from eMaryland Marketplace. All prime contractors, including certified MBE firms, when submitting bids or proposals as general or prime contractors, are required to attempt to achieve this goal from certified MBE firms.There are no subgoals established for this project. However, the Contractor is encouraged to use a diverse group of subcontractors and suppliers from any and all of the various MBE classifications to meet the overall MBE participation goal.Sealed bids will be received until 1:00 pm on Thursday, 16 May 2024.
