Founded in 1922 by six nursing students, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing(Sigma) is an international community of nurses dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, teaching, learning, and service through the cultivation of communities of practice, education, and research.In partnership with Hospice and Palliative Nurses FoundationEnd of Life Nursing Care, Sigma invites applications for the Sigma/Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation End of Life Nursing Care Research (HPNA) Grant program, which will award grants of $10,000 to support the advancement of nursing care through research. Proposals for pilot and/or developmental research are invited.Preference will be given to Sigma and/or Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation End of Life Nursing Care members with other qualifications being equal.Applicants must be registered nurses with a current license and hold a master’s or doctoral degree or be enrolled in a doctoral program.For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Sigma
