This acquisition is for Professional Flight Test Engineer Courses from an accredited test pilot school with the minimum requirements below.1. Curriculum:The course shall be commensurate with the academic coursework, flight operations, and laboratory demonstrations provided by the United States Naval Test Pilot School. Experimental test pilots are defined in Army Regulation 95–1 as “graduates of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School or other accredited test pilot schools and are designated by the commander to perform experimental and engineering flight tests.” There is no such designation for Flight Test Engineers (FTE) however, this minimum requirement ensures capabilities gained by FTE graduates are equivalent to rated aviators as defined by AR 95–1.2. Accreditations/Certifications: The course shall confer a graduate degree to FTEs who successfully complete the necessary components of instruction. 3. Schedule:Phased training (such as two (2) separate six (6) month phases) is desired. Phased training is needed to lessen the impact of having full time personnel absent for prolonged periods—prolonged period being defined as, in excess of ten (10) consecutive months. Please provide offeror name, address and CAGE code. Please provide your course description and schedule for 2023 and 2024. Please provide any other information pertinent to this requirement.
