LFRFP 230050, Passing Lanes Work on Highway 10 and Highway 17 Project Description: The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways (Ministry) is planning the construction of passing lanes on Highway No. 10 and on Highway No. 17. The Ministry requires engineering services for the following: Passing Lane Positioning study to determine the precise location of passing lanes; Detailed design of the passing lanes following the study, including any access consolidation along the corridor to accommodate safe operation of the passing lanes shall be identified in the positioning report; Tender Package Preparation. Specific projects details are defined as: Package 1 – HWY 10 will focus on Highway No. 10 from its junction with Highway No. 47 at Melville to its junction with Highway No. 35 at Fort Qu’Appelle. This project will include 4 sets of passing lanes; for a total of 8 passing lanes. Package 2 – HWY 17 will focus on Highway No. 17 from its junction with 67th Street at Lloydminster to its junction with Highway No. 647 at Onion Lake Highway No. 47. This Project will include 3 sets of passing lanes; for a total of 6 passing lanes.
