Open Date: 3/4/2024 Close Date: 4/5/2024 @ 2PM Sealed proposals for Employee Benefits Broker/Agent (January 1, 2025) will be received by the Effingham County Board of Education until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on April 5, 2024. All questions should be addressed to Mark Rahn, Benefits Administrator at srahn@effingham.k12.ga.us. The Effingham County School District (ECSD) is actively seeking to establish a long-standing partnership with a benefits broker/agent to strategically plan, design, and negotiate a comprehensive benefits package. The chosen broker/agent will collaborate closely with ECSD to take charge of educating, communicating, and delivering the benefit package to employees in an efficient and innovative manner. Additionally, they will provide day-to-day consultation on plan interpretation, issue resolution, and other administrative services. ECSD aims to develop a benefits package that addresses employees' needs and preferences while upholding administrative efficiency and compliance standards. To qualify for consideration, sealed proposals must adhere to the instructions provided in this solicitation and be submitted within the specified timeframe. Respondents are responsible for meeting all specified requirements and guidelines, as well as complying with relevant laws and regulations. ECSD retains the discretion to establish evaluation criteria and procedures for reviewing and awarding proposals. No damages may be sought by any party challenging these determinations or decisions. ECSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, parts thereof, waive technicalities/informalities, modify specifications, and award contracts in the best interest of ECSD. BID
