Description: The project involves the removal and demolition of two bridges over Mill Creek, specifically Structure 77 and Structure 94, accompanied by riparian restoration and improvements. Structure 94, an abandoned railway bridge now repurposed as a pedestrian bridge, spans 22.5 meters across Mill Creek, approximately 10.6 km upstream from its confluence with Okanagan Lake. Built around 2006 for the C.N.R Railway to access a steel facility, it features a single-span steel girder design with a 4.9-meter-wide concrete deck and rock crush fill barriers. Structure 77, located about 5.6 km upstream from the confluence, is an abandoned timber pedestrian bridge with three spans totaling 14.06 meters in length. It includes a 3.5-meter-wide deck with a gravel surface and a 0.92-meter-wide pedestrian walkway alongside. Project closes Apr 15, 2024 2:00 PM
