Request for Auditing Services ProposalCity of Amery, WIAugust 2023The City of Amery is requesting proposals from qualified Certified Public Accounting firms (hereinafter, referred to as “Firm”) for the purpose of providing auditing services of the City’s annual financial records for the 2023 fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. We are providing the following information to assist you with preparing a services proposal:Background InformationThe City operates under an elected Council/Administrator form of government and provides the following services: general administrative services, public safety, streets, refuse collection and parks & recreation. The City's 2023 General Fund budget provides for $2.99 million in operating expenditures and approximately $590,000 in debt service. The City also owns and operates a municipal drinking water and sanitary sewer utility system. The City’s 2023 Utility Fund budget provides for approximately $1.2 million in operating expenditures.Read the RFPhere.Proposal Submittal DeadlineAll proposals must be in writing, must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked in the lower left corner: “Auditing Services Proposals.” Copies of the Auditing Services Proposal must be received at the address listed below by no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29 th, 2023. Proposals received after that date and time will be rejected. Emailed and Paper Proposals will be accepted.
