The intent of this notice is to identify qualified, experienced, and interested offerors capable of performing the type of work as described herein for information and planning purposes. The information received will be utilized within the Air Force to facilitate the planning and decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.  Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought. Respondents are not required to submit information in response to this sources sought to participate in any future solicitation that may come as a result of the information received. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses
to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for the following items listed below:General: The purpose of this sources sought is to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10, for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) to provide work for a broad range of military sustainment, restoration, modernization (SRM), and minor new construction projects at Offutt AFB, NE. The contractor shall furnish all management, personnel, vehicles, supplies, equipment, etc. required to perform the work. The general scope of the requirements will be to perform multiple task orders at one time, conducting repair and renovation of facilities. The projects will encompass tasks in a variety of construction and trade areas, such as general carpentry, general plumbing, heating, ventilation, & air conditioning (HVAC) systems, fire suppression systems, general electrical systems, utility distribution systems, concrete construction, road paving systems, storm water systems, concrete masonry unit (CMU) construction, painting, roofing, demolition, and steel construction. Projects may come in the form of fully designed, partially designed, or statement of work. Projects may also come as a design-build. Minimum design efforts on all projects include submission of as-built drawings at the project completion. All project work and related services shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) all terms, conditions, special contract requirements, specifications, drawings, attachments, technical exhibits and references and publications contained in the contract or incorporated by reference.This acquisition is being considered as a set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Construction and PSC Z2QA - Repair or Alteration of Restoration of Real Property, and the small business size standard is $39.5M. Should a future requirement evolve from this market research, it is anticipated that multiple contracts could be awarded, the contract term will be for a five (5) year base ordering period with a three (3) year option period, for a total of eight (8) years, with a not-to-exceed capacity of $90,000,000 that will be shared amongst all successful contractors.All information is voluntary.
