RFQ Electrical Engineering Services

The County of Sonoma (County) invites you to respond to a RFQ for Electrical Engineering Services. Sonoma County Water Agency and its affiliated sanitation districts (Sonoma Water) invite Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms interested in providing electrical engineering services. A list of qualified firms will be developed and used over the next three years. No specific projects have been identified. Sonoma County Water Agency manages and maintains a water transmission system that provides naturally filtered Russian River water to City of Cotati, Marin Municipal Water District, North Marin Water District, City of Petaluma, City of Rohnert Park, City of Santa Rosa, City of Sonoma, Valley of the Moon Water District, and Town of Windsor. These entities in turn deliver drinking water to more than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties. Sonoma Water requires engineering and design services for electrical, instrumentation, and control relating to Sonoma

Water’s potable water production and treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, renewable energy, and miscellaneous support buildings. LIVING WAGE The living wage rate required under the County’s Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour, an increase over the previous $17.65 per hour. The increase was adopted by the County’s Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate. SUPPLIER PORTAL: Login to the County of Sonoma's Supplier Portal to view the Bid and all supplemental documents.
