SPECIFICATIONS FOR BOAT AND TRAILER REPLACEMENTEAST FORK WORK BOATS1. General informationThe goal is to replace two work boats and trailers that are currently being used to perform quality assurance and inspection on the East Fork River channel. All quotes shall include costs for supply and shipping of the boats and trailers to Columbus, Mississippi.2. Inspection of Plant by Prospective BiddersFor information regarding the exact location of the plant and arrangements for inspection, contact Mr. Roger Wilson, Jr. Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway, 3606 West Plymouth Road, Columbus, MS 39701.3. Period of PerformanceAll boats and trailers shall be delivered no later than 30 calendar days after date of award. If the delivery will take any longer, then the contractor shall notify the Government Representative at least 72 hours before the 30th calendar day after award.Technical specificationsBoat Description: (Aluma Craft FLT 1650 AW or equal)Aluminum all-welded construction.Hull gauge = 0.1 inch or greater.Boat length = 15 ft - 10 in (16-ft maximum).Transom Width = 74 inches.Transom height = 21 inches.Maximum Capacity= 4 occupants/ 1,200 lbs.Maximum Horsepower Outboard Engine= 40HPTrailer Description:Galvanized trailer should be suitable to accommodate the boat and motor described above.Trailer should be equipped with a spare wheel and tire, hand winch with cable or strap, running lights and grounded wiring harness, safety chains, 2-inch hitch coupler, and tongue jack with dolly-wheel.4. Vendor shall bid on all or none of the items.5. Quote shall include a description of the proposed equipment with sufficient detail (to include, but is not limited to, brand name, make, model number, features, and technical specifications) to allow for effective evaluation of all items of proposed
