Contact information below.This is a Market Survey to attain information, comments, and capabilities from industry in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy that will aid in the formation of an acquisition strategy and award for the procurement of Geomesa Framework over Amazon Web Serviecs Elastic Map Reduce Training. The responses to this Market Survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or a request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this Market Survey. Therefore any cost associated with the Market Survey submission is solely at the interested vendors’
expense.At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined for this effort.  However, for purposes of this market survey, we are looking for 8a vendors that can perform the capabilities of this requirement. Under Title 49 of the United States Code (49 U.S.C.), the FAA is authorized to train employees as necessary in the exercise and performance of the powers and duties of the Administrator.  The Human Factors Research and Development Branch employs scientic methods and advanced technology to perform research to assure that human operators of systems perform as safely and effectively as possible.The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 611512; Flight Training. Vendors must address the following 3 components within their submittal at minimum:1. Company Information:Please provide your:- DUNS number- Cage Code and- SAM.gov registry status (a screen-shot is acceptable as proof of registry)- 8a certification status- Point of contact, to include: name, title, telephone number, business address, and email address2. Requirements/Scope:•          See Attached Statement of Work (SOW)Please provide a capaiblity statement that includes:- In-depth knowledge and significant history to include one or more completed professional projects working on a software development project using the GeoMesa framwork for the United States Government, and previous experence in providng instructional training on cloud-based large-scale data ingestion and processing, preferably involving GeoMesa software development in a virutal setting.- Resume, credentials, or description of prior experience of the possible instructor relevant to the proposed training.- History of company and ability to accomplish the training objectives outlined in the SOW. 3. Submission and Time Requirement: All responses to this Market Survey should be received by 5:00p.m. Eastern Time, Thursday, June 3, 2021 electronically to the Contracting Officer POC using the following email address: Nicole.Saiauskie@faa.gov.
