Stephanie Sowders @ stephanie.sowders@eku.edu Intent Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) requests proposals from commercial collection agencies for the collection of delinquent, institutional loans and tuition receivable accounts; residence life and dining services fees and charges; transit and parking fees and charges; student health services fees and charges; returned checks and returned check fees; and other miscellaneous accounts receivable. The services covered by this Request for Proposals (RFP) should include pre-collection activities, skip-tracing, asset searches, and related activities required for verifying and collecting accounts, litigation, and execution of judgments. The contract(s) resulting from this solicitation is for an initial three-year period with the option for a maximum of three (3) two-year renewals. It is the University’s intent to award multiple contracts selecting up to four (4) companies to provide these services. Eastern Kentucky University expects to award this contract on or about June 01, 2023 with services to begin July 01, 2023. The scope of services is further defined in the attachment under the "Buyer Attachments" tab. Questions Due By: 3/08/2023 no later than 3:00PM (ET) – Submit via the Q&A Board within this electronic solicitation event. Contract Term The Contract resulting from this RFP and the Successful Offeror’s Proposal shall have an initial three (3) year term from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026. The Contract shall be renewable for up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year renewal periods. The total contract period will not exceed ten (10) years, subject to KRS 45A145. Annual renewal will be contingent upon the University’s needs and satisfaction with the services performed and the overall performance of the Contractor. The University reserves the right to renegotiate any term and/or condition as may be necessary to meet requirements for any renewal period.
