The City of Lewisville is accepting bids for an annual contract for Chemical Analysis.
The contract will be for twelve (12) months, with option to extend up to two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods, subject to approval of the contractor and the City.
USE OF BRAND NAMES IS FOR DESCRIPTIVE RATHER THAN RESTRICTIVE PURPOSES. IF THE VENDOR BIDS OTHER THAN THE ITEMS SPECIFIED, DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE MUST ACCOMPANY THE BID INDICATING ALL AREAS WHICH DIFFER FROM THE ATTACHED SPECIFICATIONS.
Due to Environmental Control Services' spill response designation, the need to have the most rapid analysis turn-around in emergency situations is required. When requested, the laboratory must be able to meet a 24 hour turnaround. Only laboratories that can meet this requirement will be considered.
Award will be based on best value as defined in Local Government Code, Chapter 252 section 042.
