15 Nov 2023-UPDATE: Single Source Justification Posted.Notice of IntentThe 502d Contracting Squadron, 395 B Street West Suite 2, Joint Base San Antonio-TX 78150, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to ATG San Antonio, LLC. This is a Sole Source synopsis published for informational purposes only. The action will be executed under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 711310 – Promoters of Performing Arts, Sports and Similar Events with Facilities. Business size standard for NAICS 711310 is $40M.The proposed source is ATG San Antonio, LLC. 208 E Houston ST, San Antonio, Texas 78205-1815. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information

received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or exception to the intent to purchase on a Sole Source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received by 3:00 PM CDT, 09 October 2023. In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows:The Band of the West requires a professional performance hall venue to perform the USAF Band of the West's “Holiday in Blue” dress rehearsal and performances. Period of Performance will include rehearsals and live performances 11-13 December, 2023 in San Antonio, TX as well as video and audio recording that will be utilized on social media and for broadcast in part or whole, and on television stations and media outlets. This annual performance is part of the JBSA Community Outreach strategy, reaching a live audience in the greater San Antonio area to support our civilian and military partnership. To reach the target audience and achieve the desired results, the performance must occur within Bexar County, Texas.The requirement is to provide the following:To support the Band of the West Concert Band the venue must have a stage size capable of supporting a production of 75 performers. In addition, to reach the maximum audience with each show, the venue must support an audience size of at least 2,250 people. The minimum hours the venue shall be made available to the Band of the West shall be as follows: December 11th, 2023: 0800-2000December 12th, 2023: 1500-2230December 13th, 2023: 1500-2230.This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal. The information received will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
