Simulator Training

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice.  This is not a request for proposals, bids, or price quotations.  This is for research and planning purposes only.  If any solicitations for the referenced services were to be issued in the future, it would be under this announcement.The New Jersey Air National Guard (NJANG) is seeking to identify interested businesses that can provide simulator training for pilots on the C32-B (Boeing 757-200).  It is intended that the NJANG will enter into one or more indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contracts with companies that are able to provide these services and that calls will be placed against such contract(s) for a period of five years.DESCRIPTION OF SERVICESThe contracted company shall provide appropriate training for pilots of the C32-B aircraft.  Training of NJANG pilots using Rolls Royce engines, dual cue flight directors, Pegasus FMC, Innovative Solution and Support Flat Panel Configuration and electronic flight instrument displays is strongly

preferred, but not required, in Boeing 757 simulators. The training shall be conducted at the contractor’s facility.  Training shall be conducted in a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved training center by FAA-approved instructors.  To be considered qualified, each contractor must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121 or FAR Part 135, or a training course approved under FAR Part 141 or FAR Part 142.  Initial qualification training shall be to the standard that the pilots may receive an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) and a Boeing 757 Type Rating (as applicable).  Initial Certification will be accomplished by each pilot in the left seat.  The contractor shall provide an FAA examiner (or designee) to administer the ATP Certificate/Boeing 757 Type Rating check-ride or equivalent end of course check-ride.  Training includes: Initial Pilot Training with ATP Certification Training Program (CTP), Initial Pilot Training without ATP CTP Training, Pilot Refresher Training (4 day), and Pilot Senior Officer Training.HOW TO RESPONDThis program is not currently set aside for any particular class of small or large business, and all interested, qualified companies are encouraged to respond to this notice.Interested contractors should respond in writing by submitting the information via email.  Pages allowed for submission shall be no more than five (5) in length.Subject line: NJANG Sim TrainingAddress: karen.foulds@us.af.milInterested contractors should provide the following information:1.
