This project consists of, but not limited to the following; providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to replace elevator controllers, car and hall fixtures, door operators, hoists, steel ropes, sheaves, top of car equipment, position indicators, tank, operating valves, oil lines, leveling system, piston and jack, to provide proper elevator machine guarding. Install new automatic transfer switches. Install new normal and emergency distribution to elevators including panel boards, distribution feeders necessary, shunt-trip breakers, necessary to install per Drawings, Specifications, and all applicable Codes. at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz, VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and
$5,000,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 365 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work on this project shall be accomplished between 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm shall be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov . Offerors shall ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about June 27, 2019.
