50103 Proposal To Amend A State Airport Land Lease - Sitka

PROPOSAL TO AMEND A STATE AIRPORT LAND LEASE: The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to increase the area of Lease ADA-50103, Lot 3A, Block 600, consisting of approximately 65,445 square feet, to also add Lot 5, Block 600, consisting of 12,261 square feet (for a total of 77,706 sq feet) at Sitka Airport for 1 year, to expire July 1, 2024. Applicant: City & Borough of Sitka. Total annual rent: $15,308.08. Authorized uses: Operation of a public airline terminal building and purposes commonly associated with such; including aircraft parking, loading, servicing & unloading; baggage & cargo processing; passenger ticketing, screening & waiting; concession services. Competing applications for Lot 5 or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., June 25, 2023, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
