RVSD Athletic Facilities Phases 1, 2, and 3 Utility, Grading, Driveway, Walls, and Drainage Project

River Valley School District will be accepting bids for the Athletic Facilities Phases 1, 2, and 3 Utility, Grading, Driveway, Walls, and Drainage Project. The work scope for the RVSD Athletic Facilities Phases 1 and 2 Utility, Grading, Driveway, Walls, and Drainage Project: The project includes replacement of 8” existing Sanitary Main Sewer, new 8” Sanitary Main Sewer Alignment, 6” lateral reconnections, lateral wye and reconnections, sanitary manhole replacements, new sanitary manholes, with a doghouse and flat-top sanitary manhole. The storm culvert relocations will include two new inlet tie-ins to existing, as well as new 12”, 18”, 24”, and 36” SLCPP, inlets, storm manholes, a subgrade detention system using Modular Units encased with AASHTO No. 57 drainage aggregate, control structures using PADOT Type 4 and Type 5 double inlets with weirs, and precast end wall structures with rip-rap outlet aprons. An aggregate haul road, stockpile area, three (3) Sediment Basins, and borrow

area are to be completed and remain with restorations. Existing sidewalk and curb will be demolished for new Asphalt driveway pavements. A new Retaining Wall “1” will be constructed. The Bleacher Support Structure will be built for the Home Grandstand and Visitor Bleachers. The work also includes major topsoil removal, grading, as well as erosion controls to remain in place. Pavements and surfaces include seed restorations, as well as a new parking lot and driveway full depth with transitional hot mix asphalt pavements, and an 8” layer of compacted crushed limestone aggregate subgrade layer under a drainage subbase. The Contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of excavated sewer, structures, culvert, endwalls/headwalls, pavement, and restorations including reseeding associated with this project. The contractor will submit a proposal cost for the option alternates for underground detention and infiltration required by the owner, as well as proposal pricing for any Allowances that will be negotiated in accordance with the specifications. Contractor to coordinate with the Engineer for actual field locations of all construction items. Bidders shall review the Information for Bidders, General Conditions, and Special Conditions. Sealed bids are to be submitted online (www.PennBid.net) prior to Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10:00am, at which time they will be opened and read aloud for the River Valley School District at the offices of Remington & Vernick Engineers, 105 Braunlich Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 and displayed in summary on the PennBID website. Bid Bond of 10% required. Performance and Payment Bonds 100% required on Award.
