Respondents should provide evidence of successful experience in developing and managing high-quality affordable housing and a commitment to providing quality rental homes to satisfy existing gaps in the City’s housing market. The City is particularly interested in a project that provides mixed-income rentals. The City of Yuma intends to select a developer pursuant to this RFQ process. The City will then enter into an agreement with the selected developer. This agreement will provide timelines

and performance requirements for the City and the selected Developer, and an agreement for the Developer to prepare a proposed development plan for the site and all necessary plans and legal documents. The negotiated agreement and accompanying documents will stipulate all responsibilities of the Developer and finalize all business terms between the City and the Developer concerning development of the site.
