The City of Cleburne (City) is requesting sealed proposals for PROVIDING SERVICES FOR THE COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES. The City is seeking proposals from law firms with experience in property tax collections, and with adequate personnel and data processing capacity to process and collect the City’s delinquent tax accounts. Any reference to taxes in the attached document shall mean ad valorem property tax. Please submit copies of your proposal to: Melanie Cornwell Purchasing Agent 10 N. Robinson St Cleburne, TX 76033 Your proposals must be sealed and clearly marked: “RFP 24-00 DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAX COLLECTION ATTORNEY SERVICES.” All proposals are due: January 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm Proposals received after the due date and time will not be considered for any reason without exception. There is no expressed or impliedobligation on the part of the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. The City is not

responsible for any failure of the chosen delivery service. Any responses recieved after 5:00pm on January 15, 2024 will not be accepted. CONTRACTOR, is fully responsible for providing Workman's Compensation with Employer's Liability, Commercial General Liability, and Automobile Liability coverage as required by the state of Texas. (See Requirements Attachment) In accordance with Chapter 2271, Texas Government Code, a governmental entity may not enter into a contract with a company for goods and services unless the contract contains a written verification from that company that it: (1) does not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract. The person submitting a quote on behalf of company verifies thatthe company does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of this contract. [ONLY IF MORE THAN $100K AND COMPANY HAS MORE THAN 10 FTEs] In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 19, 87th Legislature prohibits contracts with companies that discriminate against firearm or ammunition industries. The person submitting a quote on behalf of a company verifies that the company does not discriminate against firearm or ammunition industries. In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 13 9 , 87th Legislature prohibits contracts with and investments in certain companies that boycott energy companies.
