2023 BELLY DUMP TRAILER TENDER Project Description :MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF PROVOST NO. 52 2023 BELLY DUMP TRAILER TENDER Tenders are being accepted for one (1) 2022 Belly Dump Trailers Midland MX3000 or equivalent for gravel hauls. • Tri-axle cross dump configuration (2 hopper) for tandem tractor • Air ride suspension • Q-plus S-cams and brake shoes with life seal brake pots • Axle rock guard on front axle only • Parallel style wheel hubs (inner and outer bearings the same size) • 11R-24.5 Tires on aluminum rims • Standard ABS (2S/1M) • Please include expected delivery date (F.O.B Provost) • Specification Checklist: listed in Appendix A, attached. Tenders are to be clearly marked “2023 BELLY DUMP TRAILER TENDER” submitted to: Tyler Lawrason, Administrator M.D. of Provost No. 52 Box 300 (4504 – 53rd Avenue) Provost, Alberta T0B 3S0 Acceptance of tender will be contingent on immediate availability of the product, and suitability of the product to meet the M.D. requirements as per the specification sheet. These factors will be weighted at 40%, with the tendered price weighted at 60%. Failure to complete checklist with submission may invalidate tender. Tenders are to be submitted, in hard copy format only, no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. No faxes accepted. Faxed amendments will be accepted as long as the original tender is not disclosed. The M.D. reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted or any part and the lowest of any bid will not necessarily be accepted. A decision will be made on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Commissions earned by the Rural Municipalities of Alberta from approved suppliers to that Association’s trade division will be considered when comparing prices. Please indicate if your prices include the commission. Also, please quote G.S.T. separately and quote freight F.O.B Provost with a delivery date.
