Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and read immediately thereafter. Contract Documents may be obtained from EMH&T, 5500 New Albany Road, Columbus, Ohio 43054, beginning Thursday, March 28, 2024, by providing a non-refundable $75.00 deposit/set, payable to EMH&T, Inc. No more than three (3) sets will be provided to a Bidder. (All Shipping Costs Paid by Bidder). Contract Documents may be reviewed without charge during business hours at EMH&T. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier’s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is a prevailing wage project. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best bidder for each contract. The scope of this project includes making improvements to the landscape and walls along East Main Street. The work for the Base Bid includes approximately 3,000 square feet of decorative fencing and walls, plantings of 350 shrubs and 650 flowers, modifications to the existing irrigation, and other related work. The work for Additional Bid 1 includes approximately 950 square feet of decorative fencing and walls, plantings of 130 shrubs and 420 flowers, modifications to the existing irrigation, and other related work. The work for Additional Bid 2 includes approximately 2,400 square feet of brick paver replacement. The completion of work for the Base Bid shall be 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
