The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is issuing a Notice of Intent for a Sole Source the award of a firm fixed price contract with Eurofins Food Chemistry Testing Madison, Inc. The Military Nutrition Division (MND) of US Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM) has an ongoing research initiative entitled the Ration Analysis Program that aims to accurately catalog the nutritional composition of the current ration components available for purchase and consumption by Warfighters both in theater and during training scenarios. The contractor will provide chemical analytical services to include the sample preparation, weighing of package contents, and chemical food analysis of samples (pre storage, post storage, vitamin D, amino acid profile, and omega fatty acid profiles) provided by USARIEM of Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) XXXIII and Unitized Group Ration-Express (UGR-E)/Heat and Serve (H&S) in 2 Phases.
