FCI Sandstone Solid Waste Removal

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Sandstone, Minnesota, intends to make a single award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, located in Sandstone, Minnesota.  The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four, one-year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated yearly contract requirement include: Pull, empty, and return a 30 yard trash compactor receiver when called. The receiver will be located adjacent to the recycling center at FCI Sandstone. Pulls will be requested approximately once per week. Contractor will be required to pull, empty, and return the receiver before 4:00 P.M. the same day the receiver is pulled. The yearly contract requirement will also include: Pull, empty and return 1 each 30 yard

construction refuse dumpster, not to exceed 14 pulls per year (on call when needed). Lastly, the yearly contract requirement will include: 1 each 2 yard trash dumpster, estimated 52 pulls per year (on call when needed). Calls to empty will be made before 9:00 A.M. on the day the pull will be needed. No calls to empty will be made on Saturdays, Sundays, or Federal holidays; All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations per the state of Minnesota and the Federal Government.  The solicitation will be made available on or about May 07, 2021 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration beta SAM website at www.beta.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $41.5 million. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about May 28, 2021 however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation will be a full and open competitive procurement; All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
