Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with CUES Inc for the provision of CUES CCTV equipment and parts.In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.BackgroundPer correspondence from CUES, Inc., dated April 11, 2024, CUES, Inc. is the sole source direct provider for all CUES CCTV equipment, services, parts, and support for the entire state of Florida. Correspondence also states CUES, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and supplier of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products/parts for all CUES, Inc. systems and product line; no other vendor or manufacturer offers CUES, Inc. equipment or authorized service in the entire state of Florida. Any use of vendor outside of a vendor outside of CUES, Inc that modifies, services, or provides technical parts may risk voiding any applicable CUES, Inc warranty.Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
