Route changes, detours, construction, or streetscape changes sometimes require that bus stops be temporarily or permanently closed, moved, added, or consolidated. For that reason, the number of active bus stops can fluctuate, but typically remains between 925 and 945. BBB stops will be assessed for compliance with standards established for both bus stop requirements, but also bus stop amenities, allocated on the basis of ridership at the stop.
