href="mailto:jlam@santa-ana.org">jlam@santa-ana.org Bids to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The City is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to replace and install deteriorated sewer manhole, sewer cleanout and water valve concrete collars located throughout City streets per ATTACHMENT A. The successful Bidder will work with the City to efficiently remove deteriorated concrete collars and construct new collars which comply with the City’s Standard Plans for sewer manholes, sewer cleanouts and water valves. The City reserves the right to add or delete sewer manholes, sewer cleanouts and water valve concrete collars identified for replacement. . Other Details Bidders must have minimum five years’ experience providing the same or similar services to public agencies. Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, parts/materials to provide hazardous waste disposal and management services in accordance with contract requirements; the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) Regulations; Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regulations; CAL OSHA requirements, appropriate manufacturer specifications; all applicable technical bulletins, trade, federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, including, but not limited to laws applicable to the Services at the time Services are provided to and accepted by the City. CARB Fleet Compliance The City is a Public Works Awarding Body, as defined under Title 13 California Code of Regulations section 2449(c)(46). Accordingly, Bidders must submit, with their Bids, valid Certificates of Reported Compliance (“CRC”) for the Bidder’s fleet and for the fleet(s) of its listed subcontractors (including any applicable leased equipment or vehicles). Bidder must additionally complete and submit the Fleet Compliance Certification, included in the Bid Documents. Failure to provide a CRC for the Bidder, and for all listed subcontractors, or failure to complete the Fleet Compliance Certification, may render the Bid non-responsive. Contractor shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal safety requirements. All permits and fees required by all other Agencies having jurisdiction over any part of the work shall be obtained and paid for by the Contractor. Contractor shall be solely responsible for the fees associated with obtaining and/or maintaining required licenses and all other appropriate licenses and certifications. Contractor shall submit current copies of all applicable licenses and certifications to the City at time of bid submittal and be responsible for maintaining current copies on file if awarded a Contract. Contractor’s License: In accordance with California Public Contracting Code § 3300, the City requires Contractors to possess a valid California Class A -General Engineering and Class C-8 -Concrete Contractor’s License at the time bids are opened and to maintain this and all other applicable licenses and certifications required to perform the work specified herein. .
