Fayette Well Field Fencing Project

ADVERTISEMENT TO BIDDERS The Fulton County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the Fayette Well Field Fencing Project for the Village Well Field at Parcel #18-035696-02.000, County Road 24 REAR, Fayette, OH 43521. Bids will be received in the Fulton County Commissioners Office located at 152 S Fulton St, Suite 270, Wauseon, OH 43567 until 9:00 AM December 6, 2022, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 9:00 AM (local time) will be returned unopened. Bids will be received on a unit price basis as outlined in the bid documents. The project consists of (a) removing the existing fence, (b) installing the new chain link fence, and (c) installing an estimated 3 sliding gates. A full description of the work to be performed at the project site can be found in the Unit Price Schedule section of the bidding documents. Please also check the design specifications section of the contract documents for other important details. Bids

must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, sealed in an envelope, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid. All contractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Second Street, Suite 200, Defiance, Ohio, 43512 or be downloaded from MVPO’s website at https://www.mvpo.org/bids The Fulton County Board of Commissioners and the Village of Fayette reserve the right to reject every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.
