information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The small business size standard is 600 employees.(v) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial items:CLIN 0001Purchase of EnerSys UPS Batteries for Reillo Master HP UL 250 kVA in accordance with the Statement of Need.CLIN 0002Purchase of installation, removal and disposal of old batteries.BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT: Only one brand is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. These UPS units are located in a server rack at the facility and provide conditioned power as well as battery backup for critical infrastructure. The UPS’ protect servers, network appliances, and other critical systems from power outage (for a limited period of time) or voltage spike. The AWC operates 24/7 and it is critical for aviation operations worldwide that we meet our mission deliverables.
