2024-041 Franklin Street Water Tank Replacement The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from qualified bidders for complete replacement of an existing 500,000 gallon potable water storage tank with a 256,000 gallon glass lined water storage tank, in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2024-041. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Salem Water Treatment Plant, 1300 Tidewater Street, Salem, VA 24153, to answer any questions from interested parties. Sealed bids will be accepted in the City of Salem Purchasing Department, located at 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia 24153, on or before 3:00 p.m., on April 30, 2024, at which time the bids will be opened.
