See Addendums 1 & 2 The City of Irving Water Utilities Department would like to invite local contractors to bid on the work outlined in the following Invitation To Bid request. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all materials, appurtenances, tools, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary to construct in place a rehabilitation of the elevated storage tank at the Walnut Hill site as detailed in the bid drawings and specifications associated with this ITB, located at 1920 Gateway Drive, Irving, Texas. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: Exterior Containment, Blast and Recoat Wet Interior Blast and Recoat Riser Dry Interior Spot Repair, Pressure Wash, and Overcoat Remove and Replace Interior Ladders Replace Roof Vent Repair/Replace Partial Roof Rafters Remove and Replace Roof Transverse Stiffners Remove and Replace Overflow Weir Box Remove Replace Compression Ring Remove and Replace Access Tube Roof Plate and Roof Hatch Remove and Replace Dry Riser Door Modify Rooftop Railing Obstruction Control Panel and Light Miscellaneous Electrical (fittings, supports, hardware, etc.) Instruments (water quality, level transmitter, antennas) Vault Grating and Piping Modifications Overflow Concrete Box and Piping Modifications CITY WILL NOT PUBLISH THE COST ESTIMATE OR THE BID TAB UNTIL AFTER THE PROJECT HAS BEEN AWARDED, NO EXCEPTIONS!
