DA10--Medical Terminology Symedical Software Licenses

US Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Terminology Symedical Software Licenses The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for Medical Terminology Symedical software licenses, a medical terminal management software application. inclusive of software maintenance and professional support during installation, continued software maintenance as well as training services. The application will enable the EHRM IO Data Migration team to manage the mapping of standard and proprietary terminology data sets - such as Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine (SNOMED), Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC), International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) , Health Level Seven (HL7), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) health informatics standards,

Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) between Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) and Cerner Millennium as patient data is migrated from VistA to Cerner. The licenses include software updates and patches and help desk support for the installation and use of the application. The intended sole source award will be a firm-fixed price contract with Clinical Architecture, LLC, 11611 N. Meridian Street, Fifth Floor, Carmel, IN 46032. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541519. The anticipated award date of on or about August 30, 2022. This notification shall close on August 19, 2022 at 12:00 PM EST.
