On Call Climate Action Plan Consulting Services

The objective of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit and evaluate proposers to determine up to two of the most qualified consultants to enter into an agreement to assist the port in meeting its goals and objectives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions consistent with the port’s Climate Action Plan (CAP). Proposals are being requested for the following consulting services. This work may include but is not limited to the following: Climate Action Plan implementation planning, including scheduling, monitoring and evaluation of progressTechnical expertise on GHG reduction strategies including alternatives evaluations and emerging technologies Tracking and reporting progress updates (internally and externally), including written and verbal methods Professional opinions and recommendations regarding climate action planning and actionsAssist with climate action regulatory support, including tracking new and existing climate action legislation and assessing their implications to

port effortsCommunity engagement and outreach assistance, including assistance developing news releases, key messages, mailings, social media posts, etc.Associated graphics assistanceProject management as it relates to climate action plan initiatives and projectsAssist with the development of grant applications related to CAP and GHG reduction initiativesAssist in the development and implementation of contracts to support GHG reduction strategies and actionsOther tasks as necessary to support Climate Action Plan implementation and GHG reduction efforts
