This notice is not a request for proposals. The General Services Administration, Rocky Mountain Region (Region 8) anticipates an award of a contract to the Downtown Salt Lake City Alliance (DSLCA) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1)), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A solicitation for this requirement will not be made available, and this notice is for informational purposes only. All responsible sources that believe they can perform these services in their entirety must submit a written notification of interest and capability statement no later than May 17, 2018 by 12:01 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) which will be considered by the agency. dylan.white@gsa.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to
this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. GSA has a need for professional services from the DSLCA to coordinate, manage, facilitate, plan, and implement activities, programs, and events for the federally owned buildings in the Central Business District of Salt Lake City, UT. These services will include the management of activities, coordination of events and vendors on the plaza, safety and informational services, and services for temporary exhibits, installations, or displays.The DSLCA is uniquely positioned to provide these services as the sole entity to represent the businesses in the Utah Central Business District and coordinate events in partnership with the Salt Lake City Chamber. The Government anticipates contracting for a one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. These services shall be provided at the Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building, Frank E. Moss U.S. Courthouse, and the U.S. District Courthouse. The Government expects the services to be in place by October 1, 2018.The above mentioned services are provided to support the Good Neighbor Program authorized through the Public Buildings Cooperative Use Act of 1976 and other various legal mandates, such as federal laws and executive orders.
