Post InformationPosted At:Fri, Jan 12, 2024 10:16 AMSealed Bid Process:NoPrivate Bid:NoOverviewSummaryThe San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct performance audits of the SJCOG and of the seven transit operators under the COG's jurisdiction.BackgroundThe SJCOG is statutorily required by Section 99246 of the California Public Utilities Code to designate an entity other than itself, a county transportation commission, a transit development board, or an operator to make a performance audit of its activities and the activities of each operator to whom it allocates funds. The intent of this RFP is to procure performance audits for fiscal years 2021-22 through 2023-24 of the SJCOG and the following transit operators: San Joaquin Regional Transit District City of Lodi City of Ripon Regional Rail Commission City of Tracy City of Manteca City of Escalon The audits must be conducted during fiscal year 2024-2025 and must be conducted in compliance with relevant sections of the Transportation Development Act (TDA). The SJCOG further expects that the performance audits will be conducted consistent with the "Performance Audit Guidebook for Transit Operators and Regional Transportation Planning Entities" (hereinafter referred to as the "Performance Audit Guidebook") issued by the California Department of Transportation.
