REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Rear Yard Drainage Improvement Project 2018 RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS Sealed Proposals for the Village of Buffalo Grove Rear Yard Drainage Improvement Project 2018 are invited and will be received by the Village of Buffalo Grove (hereinafter referred to as The Village) at 50 Raupp Boulevard (attn: Office of the Village Clerk), Buffalo Grove, Illinois 60089 on or before, but not later than 10:00 A.M. Local Time on Thursday, February 15, 2018.  Proposals will not be publically opened.  Each Contractor shall be required to submit three (3) copies of their respective response documents, in a sealed envelope or box, clearly labeled as “VoBG-2018-11 Rear Yard Drainage Project 2018”. PREVAILING WAGE ACT The Village is an Illinois unit of local government and the Work hereunder is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01, et seq.   PROJECT OVERVIEW The Village seeks a high quality contractor to complete two rear yard drainage improvement

projects both projects consist of installing 6” and 8” PVC storm sewer pipe in the rear yards of a residential subdivision for the purpose of picking up sump pump pipe discharge water.  Due to the established and well maintained areas in which the work will take place and the limited access points, the Contractor will have to produce a work plan that will dedicate special care and attention to the surroundings so as not to damage any of the residential private property.
